An IPL betting app deserves your money only if it shows Sessions and Overs markets, live cricket, a fair margin and a way to close a bet early, and you can test all four on one T20 page in five minutes. On 4rabet's live India–New Zealand T20 the Winner prices of 1.63 and 2.27 hide a bookmaker cut near 5.40%: ₹1,000 split across both sides comes back as about ₹949, whoever wins. Two of our six checks failed, and one of them hurts most in a powerplay. What should an IPL betting app have before the first over?
Six checks tell you most of what a betting site can do for an IPL fan: session and over markets, live cricket, odds format, cash out, video and the league itself. On 4rabet two passed cleanly, one earns a caution, two failed, and the IPL line we could not see.

The two red rows hurt more in the IPL than in a Test: a T20 innings can turn in two overs, and without cash out a powerplay bet rides to the last ball. The slip does offer Combo, and its quick-stake buttons run from ₹100 to ₹5,000.
How much do IPL betting apps keep? The margin maths in ₹
On that India–New Zealand Winner market the house built in roughly 5.40%: 1/1.63 plus 1/2.27 makes 1.0540, and whatever sits above 1 is its share. In rupees, ₹1,000 split so that either result pays the same brings back about ₹949, whoever wins. The missing ₹51 is the price of the bet before a single ball is bowled.

Enter both decimal odds of a Winner market, such as 1.63 and 2.27. Example maths, not a promise.
Here is the split. Put ₹582 on the 1.63 side and ₹418 on the 2.27 side. If the first side wins, ₹582 × 1.63 = ₹949. If the second wins, ₹418 × 2.27 = ₹949. No result returns the full ₹1,000.
Take the margin out and the fair prices would be about 1.72 and 2.39. The same sum on ten European football fixtures from the Europa and Conference League gave an average 1X2 margin of 5.51%, from 5.38% to 5.64%, so the cricket price sat at much the same level. Across a season, ₹10,000 of stakes at that level hands roughly ₹510 to the book on average, before skill or luck comes into it.

4rabet's cricket match page sorts its markets into seven tabs, from the catch-all All to Match. We noted the tab names and the Winner prices on a live T20; we did not price every line inside them, so the right-hand column gives what each tab name normally covers in cricket betting.

Sessions and Overs are why an IPL fan opens a betting app at all. What the rules page left out counts too: stake floor, stake ceiling and payout cap are all unwritten, and the promotions page offered no free bets or odds boosts for sport.
Who stands behind IPL betting apps: offshore licences and mirror addresses
Every IPL bookmaker we could describe is offshore, and the one we checked is typical: 4rabet's footer names a Curaçao licence without a number, there is no Indian licence, and the "legal bookmaker" line is the site's own wording. We could not match the brand to a number in the Curaçao register. We are not lawyers; check which rules apply to you before you play.
That leaves the T&C as the only rulebook for a stalled payout. Expect the address to move too: in our check the site opened on a mirror with a number added to its name, while copies with one letter changed travel through cricket chats. Save the address you trust as a home-screen icon and ignore "new link" messages.

Our answer is limited to what we saw: 4rabet had the cricket tabs an IPL fan wants and a margin near 5.4%, but no cash out, no video and decimal odds only. The whole operator gets 5.8 from us, and its IPL line we have yet to see.

We can describe only the one we checked, 4rabet, which holds an offshore Curaçao licence per its footer, not an Indian one. It had Sessions, Overs and Players tabs and a 5.40% margin on a T20 Winner market, but no cash out or video. Our mark for the operator is 5.8.
QDoes 4rabet cover IPL matches?
According to 4rabet's own pages, IPL is in its line. Our check ran while the league was not playing, so we did not see IPL markets on screen. What we did see: seven market tabs on India versus New Zealand in a live T20, and 43 cricket events in play together.
QIs a betting app safe because I saw its advert during an IPL match?
No. An advert proves only that someone paid for it, not who runs the app or whether payouts arrive. Check the store listing's developer, the licence shown in the footer and the withdrawal rules before you share any UPI details. On 4rabet the footer names Curaçao but shows no licence number, which is one reason its licence score is 4.0.
