1. What we never collect: mobile number, OTP, UPI ID
Screen Saathi has no account system, so your name, mobile number, date of birth, PAN, Aadhaar, bank details, UPI ID and one-time passwords never reach us. We also do not accept money of any kind.
Nobody from this site will call you, message you on WhatsApp or Telegram, or offer a "betting ID", a bonus or help with a frozen account. Anyone who does that in our name is a fraudster. Do not share an OTP or approve a UPI request; report the number on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
We do not sell visitor lists and we do not build profiles of individual readers.
2. Cookies and how we count visits
Cookies here do one job, tallying traffic: that a page was opened, roughly how long it stayed on screen, the country, and whether the device was a ₹8,000 Android or an iPhone. We look at these numbers in totals, for example "the iPhone page had more readers this week", not person by person.
The cookie banner on the site says the same thing in one line. Cookies can be refused or wiped in Chrome (⋮ → Settings → Privacy and security) or Safari (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data), and every page still works without them.
3. Server logs and site security
Each visit leaves a technical record with our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use these logs to block bots, stop attacks and fix broken pages.
These records are wiped after a short while. Nobody here matches those logs against other sources to identify a reader.
4. Leaving our site for 4rabet
Each 4rabet button adds a referral tag to the address, letting 4rabet credit the visit to Screen Saathi. That tag does not send us your phone number, documents, deposits or bets; those stay with the operator.
From that point 4rabet's own rules apply. When we looked, 4rabet's footer showed a "Personal Data" entry and a Terms link, yet we saw neither a stand-alone privacy or cookie policy nor a cookie banner, so read whatever data terms it shows before you send any ID proof. Under its T&C, 4rabet can demand ID (passport, national ID or driving licence), plus a bank statement or utility bill under 6 months old as address proof.
Other outside sites we mention, such as cybercrime.gov.in or the Tele-MANAS helpline, follow their own privacy rules.
5. Your rights over your data
You can ask a site which personal data it holds on you, get it fixed or deleted, pull back consent and complain about misuse. Because Screen Saathi holds no accounts and no contact details, in most cases there is simply no record that points to you.
You can withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser. If you believe a site has misused your personal data, write to us first and, if that does not settle it, to the data protection authority.
This policy changes when the site changes, and the text on this page is the current one. The site is meant only for readers aged 18 and above.
